Green Deal Debates

The government’s flagship green policy, the Green Deal, intends to reduce the carbon emissions of our existing buildings by tackling the energy efficiency of our homes and businesses. The Greenbuild Expo Green Deal debates, sponsored by UK Green Building Council, will look at how this initiative will impact on industry, how it will work in reality, how we can overcome a skills shortage, what the funding models will look like, how to get involved in Green Deal work and what it entails for domestic and commercial properties. We have an impressive line-up of expert speakers ready to put their views across and answer your questions, including DECC’s Dan Monzani, who is deputy director of the department’s Green Deal legislation and finance team. There will also be representatives from the BRE, NICEIC, the National Insulation Association, Kingfisher, PRP Architects, the Cabinet Office, Procure Plus and many more to be confirmed. The Green Deal debates are your chance to find out what is really going on and what will be happening in time for the launch at the end of this year.
